The three objectives of the Labels project are consumer protection, transparency, including accountability, and promotion of the profession.
Attaching the logo to a translation output implies that:
- a qualified human professional has been involved. The PVTr logo can not be applied to raw automatic translation output.
- agreed-on specifications have been met (see ASTM F2575, ISO 11669, or follow this link to learn more about specifications).
- The Licensee that applies the logo to a piece of translation output takes responsibility for it.
